General cleaning of the mattress, as well as manipulations aimed at removing local stains, give housewives a lot of trouble. Even if you know how to clean the mattress with folk remedies or specialized preparations, this will not work quickly. Have to be patient, a set of tools and household cleaning products.

We prepare an acetic solution of very low concentration (no more than two tablespoons of the product per two liters of water), moisten the sheet in it, squeeze it well. We cover the mattress with a slightly damp cloth and knock it out with a cane. We repeat the approach on the second side.
• So that the product does not have to be washed, it is recommended to use Vanish for upholstered furniture or its analogues to remove surface stains and greasy marks. Only foam is applied to the fabric, which is then cleaned according to the instructions.
• Greasy and fatty formations will go away under the influence of ethyl alcohol or ammonia. Strongly rubbing is not necessary, just moisten the surface and dry.
• Vinegar and thorough drying in the sun will help to remove traces of mold. First, the spots are treated with a weak solution of vinegar, after which the object is hung out in the fresh air (warm or frosty, it does not matter).

Effective persistent contaminants

Most of the troubles to the hostesses are stains from blood and urine. But, in order to remove them without a trace, it is not necessary to wash the product in a typewriter or hand it in for dry cleaning. First, try the following approaches:

• First of all, you need to clean the mattress with a concentrated solution of laundry soap. A dense composition is applied directly to the spots in a small amount, after which the tissue is treated with a toothbrush or a dense sponge. Then the soapy mass is carefully removed with a damp cloth and the area is dried with paper towels.

Tip: When removing stains of organic nature, it is strictly forbidden to use warm or hot water. This will lead to the launch of chemical reactions, which will result in stains and traces that are not amenable to further processing.

• To remove traces of blood, you can use a saline solution. We apply it to the spots using a spray gun, leave for half an hour and collect the remaining composition with paper towels.
• A composition based on lemon juice and salt well eliminates traces of urine. From the active ingredients we prepare the pulp, which we apply to the problem area and leave for a couple of hours. Then we collect the remains of the paste with a damp sponge and dry the product.
• If stains from blood and urine could not be completely removed, and yellow traces remained on the surface of the mattress, then they can be washed dry using soda. We powder the contaminated area with powder, leave it all night. In the morning we collect the remains of the product with a vacuum cleaner.
