Today, many have learned how to make a washing gel with their own hands and successfully use it to combat persistent dirt and mold marks on linen. Preparing an effective tool is quite simple, most often a crumb of laundry, children's or antibacterial soap is used to create the base.

Craftsmen even developed a recipe for a home-made rinse, which is not only absolutely safe for things, but also has a positive effect on the condition of the washing machine. Folk remedies have many additional positive properties. True, there is a certain specificity to the approach, which should not be forgotten.

The advantages and disadvantages of homemade gel

You do not need to be an experienced chemist to understand the principle of action of detergents. The advantages of home-made compounds in comparison with industrial analogues are also easy to determine:

1. All detergent compositions contain surfactants, and they are responsible for the quality of dirt removal. These components contained in the finished mixtures are so aggressive that they wash off the protective layer from the hands during hand washing. The use of soap-based products usually does not carry such a risk.
2. The composition of washing powders often includes phosphates - drugs that provide the removal of very persistent stains, but at the same time adversely affect the condition of the skin, immunity and the nervous system of a person. Creating your own tool, you can not add them.
3. Unlike finished liquid powders, soap gels are able to work not only at low, but also at high temperatures.

Gel from soap and intense soda ash

This tool actively fights stains, does not settle between the fibers and does not leave stains after rinsing. It can be safely used to restore products from any materials except natural wool and silk. Moody fabrics are better off picking up a more delicate grooming option.

To make an effective do-it-yourself gel, you must perform the following manipulations:

• For 200 g of soap, we need the same amount of soda ash and about 2.5 liters of water. Soap can be any, but the preparation based on the household has the maximum cleaning result.
• To prepare the product, we need a medium-capacity tank in which you can cook on the stove. It is worth considering that after such an operation, the dishes can no longer be used for cooking.
• Rub the bar of soap on the smallest grater, pour 1.5 liters of water, mix and put on medium heat. We heat the mass, stirring constantly, reduce the heat to a minimum, the product should not boil.
• When the soap is completely dissolved and the product becomes homogeneous, add another 1 liter of water, stir and introduce soda. After adding this component, the mass continues to interfere, preventing the formation of foam. Soda should completely dissolve, otherwise white stains will appear on the products.
• Remove the finished mixture from the stove and cool in natural conditions. We give the product a day to stand, and then pour it into suitable containers with a wide neck.

If already in the process of cooling the mass is too thickened, then it is allowed to introduce an additional portion of water and reheat the product. Ultimately, the product should become similar to sour cream of medium fat content.

Disinfectant homemade soap gel with brown and soda

Such a tool not only qualitatively copes with pollution, but also eliminates such an unpleasant phenomenon as mold. Thanks to a combination of laundry soap and borax, a pronounced disinfecting effect is achieved. If desired, essential products are allowed to add essential oils. This step will allow you to get a fragrant composition, the pleasant smell of which will remain on things even after rinsing.

• For 5 liters of water, you need to take 300 g of laundry, tar or antibacterial soap, baking soda and dry borax.
• Rub the soap on a fine grater. Pour half a liter of water into the pan and pour the soap. We put the composition on fire, slowly warm it up, stirring constantly. It is strictly forbidden to pour boiling water soap!
• After the product becomes homogeneous, slowly fill up the remaining components, without ceasing to stir the composition. Lastly, we introduce the rest of the water in a thin stream.
• Then the mass is heated again, but not to a hot, but uniformly warm state. We remove the finished gel in a dry place for a day and only after that pour it into the prepared containers.

The resulting product acts much softer than the previous one, so its amount for one wash can be increased to three tablespoons. Replacing baking soda with a technical one is not recommended; the mass will turn out to be too aggressive. This composition has virtually no effect on the state of the fibers and can be used to process things, including delicate ones, regularly.

Home fabric softener vinegar based

Home-made products based on soap are perfectly cleaned, but they do not contain components that would have a softening effect on the fabric. But here it is quite possible to do without industrial preparations. It is enough to prepare a specialized conditioner, again based on natural ingredients.

The procedure is very simple and does not even involve cooking or heating:

• We will need two glasses of white vinegar, baking soda and water, a few drops of essential oil without a pungent odor.
• First, dissolve soda in water, pouring a powder in a thin stream. Having achieved dissolution, pour in the vinegar, without ceasing to interfere with the composition. It is strictly forbidden to change the sequence of introducing components; this can lead to violent chemical reactions!

Tip: To prepare the air conditioner, it is recommended to take a large capacity tank, as the process of mixing drugs will be accompanied by the release of a significant amount of foam.

• When all the violent reactions are over, add no more than 10 drops of essential oil to the workpiece, after which we thoroughly shake the resulting conditioner.
• The liquid composition is poured into plastic or glass bottles and used as necessary. It must be stored in a dry and warm place, otherwise the product may thicken.

A ready-made conditioner is used for both machine and hand wash. It is introduced at the stage of rinsing products in the amount of 2-3 tablespoons. The composition not only allows you to get rid of soap residues between the fibers, but also removes static electricity from the fabric, softens the matter, gives the product a pleasant but unobtrusive smell.

According to experts, properly prepared home-made detergents are ideal for families with children, allergy sufferers and asthmatics. They reduce the need for contact with chemistry, their use is not accompanied by an abundance of dust, after washing from the laundry does not emit an obsessive smell or a whole mixture of aromas.
