Of course, the small company has a small chance of producing such an expanded product line - from liquid to spirals - but all major brands currently produce the following varieties.

• Plates

One of the very first forms of release is still very popular! But it was not without progress: now these plates are practically odorless, and they cope even better with mosquitoes. You can use them only indoors: for effective action, you will need a special heater without batteries, which is inserted into the outlet. Although if an extension cord is stretched out onto the street, the plates will work outside the house!

• Liquid

The fumigator in the form of a liquid is convenient in that it does not need to be changed, unlike the plates, and it is quite compact. But, let’s say right away, he won’t be able to work 24 hours a day: the heater can overheat and break if it is not pulled out of the socket after 7-8 hours of operation. On the street, it is inconvenient to use liquid, even with an extension cord, because the bottle should stand strictly upright, but for rooms this is a real salvation.

• Heater

Without a heater, the previous 2 points would be meaningless: for the liquid and Raptor plates to work, the repellent must warm up and spread around the room. Typically, such heaters do not have batteries, are compact and run on a wall outlet, but there are more expensive portable battery-powered heaters.

• Spray, lotion or cream

These express tools have saved us all more than once. Neither batteries, nor a lighter, nor electricity are needed. Aerosols are very convenient to use, but in order to maintain health, try not to inhale the sprayed liquid. Creams and lotions will have to be applied a little longer, but you certainly will not “breathe” with repellent.

• Spirals or rods

The raptor produces both forms of fumigators, and the instructions for their use are essentially the same: the end of the spiral or the rod must be set on fire like incense and left near the place of stay. Of course, these funds can be used only on the street, without losing vigilance: if you forget about the spiral, then it is likely that someone will step on it with his bare foot, and it hurts!

• Candles

The raptor produces candles in the form of lanterns, but it can also be a candle in a glass. Their action is similar to the action of a spiral or rod, but they can also be used indoors if desired.

• Bracelets

It is quite convenient to always have such a compact repellent with you, but the Raptor, like some other companies, does not produce bracelets. Perhaps because sometimes people react to prolonged skin contact with the bracelet, which makes it difficult to call it 100% safe.

The higher the concentration of the fumigant in the product, the higher the price. A cheap remedy is likely to have either an unexpressed or short-lived effect.

Are repellents harmful to health?

Nobody wants to breathe poisonous vapors, but when it comes to mosquitoes, you have to compromise with your fears. But are fumigators so dangerous as you think? In fact, the dose of the substance that we receive from any of the above funds is not enough to cause any harm to the body. Of course, if you drink liquid from a bottle or spray it into your eyes, the consequences will not be long in coming, but if you follow the instructions, then you should not be afraid of your health.

In their products, Raptor and other large companies use only new generation repellents: effective and safe for humans, esbiotrin and pralletrin. But if you advocate for naturalness, then you can look for funds based on natural extracts and oils that have the ability to repel mosquitoes.

Tip

With the help of cloves, citrus fruits and geraniums, you can independently make a good repellent: mosquitoes are afraid of these smells.
