Penny "Persol" - a panacea for old spots
Whitening linen and returning it to its pristine freshness is not an easy task. The Persol method with oxygen bleach turned my farm over - thanks to my best friend for the advice! I studied in detail the composition and properties of this product, and I realized that "Persol" is added to many expensive washing powders. Why pay more? Persol can be found among budget products in hardware stores.
Composition
What is in the composition of the budget:
- sodium carbonate peroxyhydrate;
- sodium carbonate.
These compounds disintegrate during washing, releasing oxygen, and this element is responsible for removing stains. Other components - soda and water - do not cause any harm to the environment.
It is percarbonate that is found in most powders with oxygen bleach.
Advantages and disadvantages
Oxygen bleach is a good alternative to chlorine bleach. Such powders and gels can be used on both white and colored fabrics without jeopardizing brightness. The gentle composition of "Persoli" will not harm either synthetic or thin cotton fibers. Among the contraindications, only delicate silk is listed. Another plus is that both machine and hand wash are possible.
Persol successfully copes with such pollutants as tea, coffee, fruit and berry juices, and wine. Even stubborn stains can be removed. Yellowness and dullness due to stain remover will no longer ruin your mood.
Among the additional positive actions:
- water softening;
- limescale warning;
- disinfection of linen.
The cost of the goods is within 50 rubles per pack of 200 g. This is another unconditional advantage.
Among the shortcomings, it is worth noting a slightly sharp fragrance with a citrus aroma. Also, the effect of bleach is observed only at high temperatures, but more on that in the next section.
Instructions for use
I give the instructions for use, which comes on the package, with my notes:
- For 2 kg of dry linen, 30 g of the product is enough. This is a very economical expense.
- You can bleach things at the same time as washing in a car (without soaking in a basin or “extra wiping”). In this case, the main powder or gel is suitable for anyone, both prestigious with granules, and cheap without additives. Just add to it 1 tbsp. l "Persols."
- Washing is carried out at a temperature of 60-90 degrees.
Percarbonate begins to work actively at temperatures from +50. For colored fabrics, it is better to use water not warmer than 60 degrees. Boiling with Persola - for durable cotton linen, towels, bedding.
Application "Persoli" for hand washing:
- To prevent skin irritation or scratching, use rubber gloves.
- Pre-wash the laundry in a suitable mode or manually.
- Dilute the powder in a bowl of water. Water temperature - from +40 for wool and delicate fabrics to + 70–90 for cotton.
- Soak things for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Old spots can be left overnight.
Boiling:
- Dilute the powder in a basin - 50 g for cotton, viscose and linen or 70 g for synthetics and mixed fabrics. The amount is indicated in 10 liters of water.
- Put clothes in water.
- Bring to a boil and turn off the heat.
- Keep things in the basin for 30 minutes, stirring.
This is the old Soviet way to give linen pristine purity. Today, “Persoli” has been forgotten, as the market offers many colorful packages with promises of instant effect. The result of budget boiling with Persola is simply super!
Tip: Persol dissolves well, therefore it is better to store the product in a dry environment and tightly closed.
Security measures:
- The manufacturer warns: if the "Persol" clogged the eyes, it is urgent to rinse them with water and call a doctor.
- Bleach must be thoroughly washed off the skin with clean water, without soap.
- Do not mix the product with acids and organic solvents, otherwise you will get a violent reaction.
- It is forbidden to use dishes with rust, as well as to place the powder near hot objects or to expose to sunlight.
- And yet: since the bleach is dusty, try not to inhale it when using, so as not to cause irritation of the mucous membranes.

To use «Persole "is easy. This is a universal tool for different fabrics, working at all stages of washing. Do not pass by cheap powder, in its case a low price is not an indicator of poor quality.
