How to fold and conveniently store packages at home

Someone prefers to store packages by folding them into one. At the same time, it is not very convenient to take them out and fold them back, because they crumple, cling to each other, forming a continuous polyethylene lump. On the other hand, throwing them away also does not raise the hand, because you can use it more than once.

Colored cellophane bags

Empty bag storage

Empty containers suitable for storing packages will most likely be found at home in the closet or in the kitchen:

  • round cardboard boxes (you can use brandy or wine tubes);
  • plastic bottles from 2 to 5 l;
  • plastic jars with a screw or tight-fitting lid;
  • small cardboard boxes for socks or scarves or boxes for summer shoes.

This container is the best suited for conversion into compact, spacious and mobile storage places.

How to sort packages?

Now you need to sort the packages by density and type in order to take their convenient storage capacity for each type.

You can sort it like this:

  • cellophane without handles,
  • T-shirts
  • thick plastic
  • large plastic.

The final stage is the preparation of organizers. No special equipment will be required for this: only a clerical knife, scissors and a pair of stationery or pharmacy gum. Both the idea and its implementation are absolutely free and completely solve the problem with polyethylene deposits in kitchen drawers.

Box organizer for bags without handles

At a height of 6-7 cm from the bottom, a not very large hole is cut in the box. Fill the box with cellophane bags rolled up in bagels through the top lid, covering the cut hole with the palm of your hand, and close the lid. The organizer is ready.

Through the slotted hole, it is convenient to pull the plastic bags. Even if the excess extends, you can simply shove it back.

Checked: Twisted bags do not fall out of the hole.

Organizer bottle

Organizer is done simply:

  1. Need to cut off the top of the bottle.
  2. Roll into rolls one at a time dense plastic bags with handles.
  3. Put them in a bottle vertically.

The organizer is ready. You can glue a “collar” on top of any fabric with a drawstring drawstring so that the contents do not fall out of the bottle in a lying position.

Checked: rolled-up rolls are conveniently pulled out and inserted back into the organizer, they do not wrinkle.

Bank-organizer for "T-shirts" and not only

Another simple organizer for medium-sized packages can be done like this:

  1. In the lid of the can, a hole with a diameter of 1 ruble coin is cut and treated with sandpaper along the edge.
  2. All T-shirts are folded vertically to a width that will be 2-3 cm less than the height of the can.
  3. At the first package, the handles are bent at an angle and round them the tightly twisted resulting tape into a “sausage”. Not fully wrapped, leaving 8–9 cm.
  4. Put the next folded “shirt” on top, no longer bending the handles, and continue to fold until the roll enters the jar.
  5. It turns out a roll with a tail from the handles of the very first package. This roll must be pulled with rubber bands from above and below and put in the jar with the handles up, stretch them through the hole in the lid and close it. Now, if you pull the handles, the bag will freely come out of the can, and the edge of the next will appear from the hole.

Checked: this way you can store T-shirts, cellophane and dense bags of small size.

Box organizer for large packages

You need to fold the packages in a rectangle and insert them into the box, like cardboard folders in a file cabinet - it will be easier to pull them out and fold them back in a folded form.

Batch organizers are ready. They can be stored in a drawer of kitchen furniture, in the hallway on a shelf, and in any other places convenient for storage.
